trine park project
playground & Dog park
In 2019, the Borough was awarded a grant through the Department of Community & Economic Development. The funding will go towards the following:
Installation of new playground equipment.
Installation of a fenced in, off-leash dog park and agility area.
New metal roofing for pavilions and bathroom.
Paint for public bathroom.
The playground area will occupy a 6700 square feet area where the existing ball field is located. It will house six different slides, several climbing areas, a rock wall, swing set, and seesaw. The dog park area will be located where the tennis/basketball court was located. It will occupy a 3000 square feet fenced in area with agility equipment and a separate play area for smaller dogs.
In conjunction with the Trine Park project, the Mt. Holly Springs Heart and Soul, along with the Cumberland County Historical Society recently published a video regarding blue birds at Trine Park. Recently, Mt. Holly Springs Hear and Soul took on a project installing several blue bird houses throughout the park. Check out the video link to see the project and how you can help.
